Yes, we are losing another part of our childhoods. Primal Screen, who did plenty of bumpers and promos in the past and present for many networks, including the likes of Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Boomerang, and PBS Kids, is shutting down at the end of May. Primal Screen defined our childhoods, creating well-known bumpers and promos, mainly for Cartoon Network such as the Powerhouse bumpers and Cartoon Cartoon bumpers and promos. They are also responsible for the classic toy bumpers of Boomerang from 2000 to 2015 and bringing us a few great promos for Nickelodeon. Primal Screen is also responsible for doing memorable PBS Kids bumpers over the years. Most of these promos and bumpers also played a role in lost media of course. Most of the Powerhouse bumpers are still lost to this day, so does a few of PBS Kids' bumpers.
It's going to be hard to say goodbye to one of the most well-known companies that speciallizes in bumpers and promos from our childhoods.
