What series do you think needs a sequel in order to either continue the story or end the story (if the first series ends on a cliffhanger)?
TLDR: I think Kids Next Door needs a sequel
Personally I think Codename: Kids Next Door NEEDS a sequel. It has been 16 years and 74 days since C:KND ended in 2008. Mr. Warburton dropped a trailer for GKND on March 19th, 2015. Warburton announced that Galactic Kids Next Door was not happening as Cartoon Network did not want to make it, but Warburton said he would still try to make it. It will be a decade since that trailer released on March 19th, 2025
Since then, we have had a petition with over 50K signatures, several fanfics describing Sector V at several points in life, and a couple of references to KND in other CN cartoons. However, it is starting to seem that CN and Warburton may be working on GKND on the down low away from the public based off some posts (though it could just be both of them messing with us). This would make sense since CN did not want to make GKND as they were working on reboots, including the Ben 10 and PPG reboots (+ possibly Samurai Jack Season 5). I think the only things CN are working on creating (in terms of new series) are The Amazing World of Gumball Season 7 (+ TAWOG MOVIE) and Iyanu: Child of Wonder, so this could also mean that there's a chance GKND may also be under the creation process. Note that this is just my speculation so don't take this as fact.
Odyssey 5 which got cancelled on a cliffhanger, Stargate Universe, Star Trek Enterprise (especially given the amount of things planned for the Season 5 we never got such as a potential series set in the mirror universe and the Romulan war)
1. Not a "sequel" per se, but I wish that Dreamworks had done a few more Biblical movies personally. I know Joseph: King of Dreams wasn't up to the standard of Prince of Egypt, but I still liked the movie a lot.
2. I wouldn't mind seeing another Genius Seniority Pokemon game! I've been playing through Coliseum and liking it quite a bit.
3. I noted this in another thread, but I want someone to ACTUALLY adapt all the Chronicles of Narnia books for once.
4. Billy Hatcher 2. Balan Wonderworld doesn't count.
I would love more Kid Next Door but I am also scared because it was a show that predates stuff like social media and iphones and I am worried a reboot would get lost in being "hip with gen Alpha". It's sort of how I felt with Proud Family. I loved the show and wanted a reboot. We got one and well.... it has issues. Couple of episodes are OK but some of them get a bit lost in what they are trying to say.
I would love to see a Class of 3000 reboot. I feel like the premise is pretty universal and could work in the modern day. It would be cool to see it have more music genres and Black music history. But again, I don't want it to be ruined.

I don't think that KND would suffer the same fate as it would most likely have the exact same people who were working on it 9-22 years ago and maybe some new people who grew up watching it, such as 90's kids. Besides, I feel like some technology such as Iphones, can just be redesigned to look more alien-like and be more versatile to be made into GKND tech. Besides I don't think the KND would have time to even learn how to use social media as their planet is under danger by the GKND.
The DCOM movie "Now You See It" should've got a sequel, supposedly Aly and AJ got asked if they wanted to do a sequel to that or Cow Belles and they chose the latter, though given some comments in recent years they probably regret choosing that film now.
