I used to watch the Treehouse channel everyday as a small child and I remember this one specific show that I can never find.
I would always see bumpers and advertisements for it, it was newer at the time and it was shown a lot in advertisements.
and I don't know what they are called specifically - but you know when you're watching something on TV, maybe a movie or something? There are always those "coming on next! (show name here)" things that pop up in the right corner or left corner? well, I remember seeing tons of those
about this show.
The show was kind of out of place, to be honest.
Treehouse mostly had animated stuff but this show was live-action, the main character was a teenage girl or adult woman (I'm pretty sure it was an adult woman playing a young girl??) memories are pretty foggy about this as it was many years ago lol.
But I'm pretty sure she wore pigtails and a dress, she kind of reminded me of the girl from The Big Comfy Couch or something.
Anyway, the other main characters were not human and were animals played by humans in suits. I remember seeing only one episode of it and it aired at a really odd time and I always wanted to watch more but I had an early bedtime.
From what I remember the plot of the show is about this human girl who lives in a treehouse in the backyard of her house (?) or one of the animal's backyards, I remember there were 3 animals.
Her and the animals were all good friends.
I can't remember anything about what the animals looked like other than I'm pretty sure one of them was a rabbit/bunny?
Now the episode, well one night I stayed up a bit later than usual and it came on.
I remember the episode began with a camera shot that started in the sky and slowly zoomed/panned down to the big wooden treehouse.
The camera went in through a window and now we can see inside and see the main character, the girl is in a kitchen that is in this treehouse and is making some sort of food.
(and the background wasn't animated it was all a real set)
now that I think of it, it was similar to Lazy Town in a way.
a random thing I thought of as well, the animals kind of looked like giant calico critters or something..
But anyway, she's in this smaller kitchen, and she's making something and one of the animals (the bunny) opens the hatch door and climbs into the treehouse.
She says something to MC (main character) and they do some small talk, then the rest of the animals come climbing into the treehouse, they look excited and have some sort of news.
There all talking and joking around and then the MC's mother calls her name "(characters name) come here!" or something along the lines of that.
The rest of the episode is blurred and I don't remember anything else
It's kind of amazing that I even remember this much lol.
But I'm pretty sure they go on some type of adventure after.
I remember advertisements stopped appearing as much after that, for years after I would search for this show even getting my dad to help because he remembered it as well because of all the advertisements for it on the channel.
I actually started to believe I made this up and that it was some dream or something but no my own dad remembers this episode.
Does anyone else remember this? it would've aired between 2011 - 2012.
lastly, I remember me and my dad speculating that this show ended because of its odd show times (mostly being at night or when the target audience wouldn't be watching) like for example I remember it would air sometimes at like 1pm and most kids are still in school then.
and then some days at night, when obviously most kids are sleeping then.
