I found where the extended intro came from: youtu.be/rsT3ccOTwrQ This is the version used in the episode All Hands on Deck, which used an extended intro sung by Isaac Brock.
There's also this: youtu.be/Tazfi7dhpj4 This is the footage you found, spliced with the ending of the original intro. The person who uploaded the video theorized that the intro was originally supposed to be longer and slower paced.
Either that or the All Hands intro was supposed to originally have the actors themselves singing instead of Isaac Brock.
