I have seen a lot of people who genuinely believe it is an album by definition, which, as a fan of 60s and 70s music, always annoys me. I have generally been anti-compilation, since I believe the order of songs on their albums is very important, obvious with concept albums, but also with just regular albums, for example, hearing the opening of Good Times, Bad Times on Led Zeppelin I as the first track is much different to having it suddenly appear in the middle of a comp.
