Recently, I have been looking into a form of Kanye lost media, lost segments of magazines including Kanye. Some of these you can buy online and some have never showed up online. There are a handful, all being researched and gathered by the Ye Media Cord community. If you know anybody who collected hiphop magazines back in the day (2002-2006) or even collected them yourself, please reach out and see if they can scan them online. Here is the list of lost segments and magazines:
In The Lab (2002), shown briefly in footage released by Channel Zero in Kanye’s NY apartment in 2002. The magazine is also shown in the Through The Wire music video. No scans or extra screenshots have resurfaced since.

“Plugged” Magazine (2002), footage shown briefly in the second episode of the Netflix original “jeen-yuhs” shows Kanye reading the article and later in the episode at the Through The Wire release party, it shows an unknown lost mixtape with the same cover. No scan or extra screenshots have resurfaced since.

UPDATE MARCH 19TH 2024: An Instagram post made by jayilla in July 24th 2022 was recently discovered showing 6 pages of the magazine. It is said by Rhythmic Reason that jayilla is going to scan the magazine for the Ye Media Cord team, but no info about that has come out yet. The instagram post can be viewed here:
XXL Magazine (2002), magazine discussed in the first episode of the Netflix original “jeen-yuhs”. Video of the magazine also shown briefly in his NY apartment in the episode. No scans or extra screenshots have resurfaced since.

XXL Magazine (August/September 2003), mentioned in his 2004 HipHopSite interview, he complained how the article twisted and misconstrued his words. Confirming there was an interview in the magazine. No screenshots or scans have resurfaced since.

Interview Magazine (2004), no information is known other than Jamie Foxx was the one to interview Kanye. No photos or scans have resurfaced since.
