What are some things that you don't understand? For me, I can't understand why someone would randomly delete their entire art gallery off of whatever site(s) their using if they want to be recognized as an artist and have people see their art? I have seen happen way too many times and just recently with an online Twitter artist name WolphoxArg. This is why I'm really hoping for someone or some group of people to create archive sites that would allow people to see everything art related that was uploaded to sites, including the deleted stuff.
I don't understand people who are too proud to accept money from their parents or other sources when they are financially struggling, it's like "dude your pride is only going to make you end up homeless if you keep refusing help".

I remember being really impressed by how families and communities took care of each other and pooled resources when I lived overseas. I knew 30+ aged individuals who lived either with their families or right next door/same neighborhood, and no one (at least in my area) thought it was weird.

Important to remember not everybody has the privilege of a good family life for one reason or another. I can see plenty of reasons one might morally not want to do things like that.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."

I'm not talking about those instances, i'm talking about instances where the person has a good relationship with someone but still is too stubborn to take money from them because of something something "pull yourself up by your own bootstraps" blah blah blah.

On that note I also don't get this weird hang up the U.S. has about adults living with their parents when it's perfectly normal in almost EVERY other country in existence, hell in some Asian countries many couples actually have kids for the specific purpose of them being able to take care of the couple when they get older.

I've often thought a lot about this, it's honestly been a source of major stress for me, because I don't want to feel like dead weight, it's what inspired me to start working to begin with almost as soon as I finished getting my degree. My folks often speak of making me independent, but their actions often indicate otherwise. The aspect of control should also be considered here.

……..I feel called out here. I was offered money from an online friend rather than my parents, but still, I feel called out right here.

Yeah like I said i'm not talking about instances like yours where there's seemingly ulterior motives at play, i'm talking about genuine honest offers for help that get rejected for no reason other then pure pride(and sometimes ego).

Well it wasn't intentional and i'm sure you had a good reason for that, but personappy speaking if someone online offered me money there would be have to be a very good reason for me to turn that offer down(like say if some alt-right wacko like Adin Ross offered me money in exchange for doing bigoted shit, i'd definitely say no to that).
