What was something that you had experienced that made you believe that you were in the Twilight Zone? Have you witness something else or something similar that still has you convinced that we're in the Twilight Zone? Also this year is the 65th anniversary of the Twilight Zone series.
I don't know if these counts as a "Twilight Zone" experiences or not.
1. When I was in my late teens and still living at home, I once grew a Corn Marigold (Chrysanthemum segetum) in a pot. It grew to full size. I had it in a pot on a table in my house and I was watching it one evening when it started twisting and moving around on the spot by itself for about a minute or so before it stopped. My mum saw it too. I tried to tell people what I saw but no one believed me and told me "plants don't just move around by themselves like that." I still have not found a reason why the plant did that.
2. When I was a child, I was in the front room of the house we lived in then. It had two big, tall windows which looked out on the garden with the garden gate and short driveway (long enough to fit one car) beside the windows. I looked out one day and saw a woman wearing d blue dress and she had long hair. She walked through our gate and went up to the fence line. It looked like she was going to talk to our neighbour over the fence. I quickly got up and opened the front door (right beside the room I was in) to ask the woman why she didn't just go around to my neighbours house, rather than talking to her over the fence. No one was there. There was also no way anyone could have left again and disappeared in the amount of time it took me to get up and go outside. I even checked around the house and if anyone was there and had left, I would have easily seen them.
I never told anyone about it until a few years later when my sister told me she saw a woman one day walking up our driveway to talk to our neighbour. When she said the woman had a blue dress on and when she went outside to see who she was, no one was there. I told her about my experience and we realised we had seen the same thing, just a few years apart.
3. This happened to mum but involved me. When I started high school in 2000, I was in school one day when some older teens started bumping into each other for a laugh. One bumped into me and I fell face first into hard concrete ground with pointy stones sticking out of it. It broke my nose and glasses and was very painful. Later that day I was taken home by one of the teachers as I only lived about 3-4 miles away from the school. Later on my mum said she had saw someone who looked exactly like me, dressed in a school uniform, pass by the living room window and she wondered what I was doing home early. That was at the exact time I had fallen. There was no one else except me in the area that went to the school I did so I have no idea what she saw.
Another time in the same year, I was again in high school and was leaving for the day. To get to the buses to go home, you had to walk down a driveway on a slight hill that was just under half a mile long. As I was walking, I tripped on a pot hole I didn't see on the driveway and fractured one of my fingers. I had no idea I did that at the time until I got it x-rayed later that day, I just knew something didn't feel right with my finger. I got the bus home to as close as it went. I then picked up my bicycle as I usually cycled the last mile or so to and from the bus stop. I had to walk home with the bicycle as I couldn't grip the handlebar.
At that exact time I fell, my mum said she looked at the door of our washing machine and saw my face in it and had this instant bad feeling that something happened to me and it did.

In the summer of 2009 or 2010 (it was after I got my driver’s license but before our dog passed away) I net up with my mom and grandma for lunch at a restaurant. Afterwards I went directly home and my mom and grandma said they were going to the grocery store. I was home for about an hour, upstairs in my bedroom, when I heard the front door open. I figured they must have changed their mind about the store, my mom dropped my grandma off at her house, and came home. About a half hour later I came downstairs to get something to drink and couldn’t find my mom anywhere. I figured she must have went outside. Some time later my mom came through the front door and it was obvious she hadn’t been home. I shrugged it off as I was hearing things earlier.
Later that evening I was in my room again when I heard the front door open, my dad walking in and greeting our dog, and putting down his laptop. About a half hour later I went downstairs to help my mom make dinner when my dad came through the door. I was like “What are you doing?” thinking he just went outside after he came home. He was like “at work” and he and my mom just looked at me like I’m a lunatic.
So yeah, twice that day I heard someone come home before they actually did.
