Back in the spring of 2017, I was in a hotel room in Anaheim, CA watching the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Cartoon Network. I do not recall what happened next, but I recall after the film was done, a show played that kind of looked like a child's drawing. From what I can recall there where monsters on a room. Hopefully something gets found
The room's color was white. It doesn't have to be on Cartoon Network. It just has to be on a channel on cable.

I looked up the movie on the CN Schedule Archives wiki, and there were 6 airings of it in 2017, all in April (lining up with the timeframe). Since I'm not sure what time you saw it, I'm just gonna post the first show that came after each airing. April 2: The Brak Show April 3: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs: The Show April 9: How to Train Your Dragon (disqualified since it's CGI) April 10: Teen Titans GO! April 29: Dragon Ball Super (disqualified since it's an anime) April 30: The Powerpuff Girls 2016 Was it any of these?

I did commonly watch Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs: The Show, but from what I recall none of these are it.
Was it Mighty Magiswords? There’s monsters in that show. Another suggestion is Clarence, which fits more with your description of looking like a child’s drawing. Both these shows would’ve been airing at that time.

I do sort of recall a Clerence episode that kind of fit my description.
