Hey, everyone. I've been a viewer of a lot of lost media stuff for...a year and a half? Two years? One of the two, memory isn't the best. Which is about to be proven in this thread because what I'm about to mention is either a dream, a false memory, or something that actually happened that no one remembers.
So a bit of backstory on me (this is part of what I'll mention later), I was about four and I was in a Payless shoe shop.
...sounds a bit weird to talk about shoes on a lost media wiki, but trust me, the location is essential.
So anyway, this Payless was unique in the fact that it had like...a big hollow cylinder in the bottom right corner of it. It was orange, too. I'll even try and visualize it for you.
-Orange walls
-Gray carpet with "patterns" (think of the kinds of carpets you'd see at Target)
-Tan shoe isles fill with shoes
-Probably stuff on the walls
-Movable benches for people to try shoes on
-Giant orange hollow cylinder in the corner with doorway (had no door)
So being a small child I go in and there's only two things in there: a piece of wood to sit on on the back wall and a small TV that's airing a Spongebob episode. And since cartoons are naturally captivating to a child, I sit down and watch.
Now, here is where it gets weird.
The episode they were playing was the first episode of Season 4: To Fear a Krabby Patty. We were at the scene where Spongebob was having nightmares about the patties doing horrible things to him. Specifically, the point where the lights are red, he's shaking in his bed, and his bedroom door is creaking open. Now, if you've seen the actual episode, you'd know that a giant Krabby Patty was coming at Spongebob, spouting gibberish. That's how the episode at Payless SHOULD have played out.
But it didn't.
Instead of a Krabby Patty coming from the doorway, there was only...Ord from Dragon Tales. Yes, the big blue dragon from the children's animated series known as Dragon Tales. The lights switched from red to the regular colors of Spongebob's bedroom, and Ord comes over to shake his hand. They talked for a few seconds before Ord grabbed Spongebob's hand and took him out of bed, proceeding to fly out his window to some kind of...large hollow tree.
The last bit I remember was a few seconds after they landed there. Spongebob was pointing at something offscreen with Ord standing beside him and he said "And these are my friends!"
That's the last bit of the memory that's still in my mind.
Now, the logical response to this is "OP, that was probably a dream!" or "Doodle, it's just a false memory!" But there's one problem with both of those.
I had no idea what Dragon Tales was as a kid.
It was literally Ord, no differences except in voice. Same 2D animation style, same design. But how would I have known all of that if I never knew what Dragon Tales was a child?
This is where Lost Media comes in. I'm somewhat convinced that this is real due to how I'd never heard of Dragon Tales before when I saw it, and I only remembered this memory every recently (along with recently learning Ord's name). I need to know if this is truly something my head made up or if it's a real thing that actually happened. I don't know where to start for looking for it, but a relatively good place to begin is asking if anyone has ever seen it.
So lost Media Wiki users, have you seen the lost Spongebob and Dragon Tales crossover? Do you think it even exists? Please let me know!
