Im deeply afraid of AI art taking creative jobs. Should I listen to the pepole who say thare is no fucher for human artists, or can I still make a living off it? After all, thare can be only one truth about how the world works.
now with OpenAI's new ai video app, things might not look good, but its not gonna take all of the creativity away. SOme people will still be making good art/games/movies etc... even if AI is growing its not gonna ruin the world
Just like you. I've always wanted a creative-type career. I also had that doomer mindset that the future is bleak and robots will take over civilization.
But don't lose hope. There is more to art than just drawing and fortunately there is diverse range of roles that are in demand. I'm planning to study python to get into more techy 3D graphics roles such as rigging or animation TD. Also experiment with other programs such as Houdini.
I assume you are a young adult so you have plenty of time to experiment with what kind of job suits you. I do feel like I've wasted my years in a dead end job but oh well. At least I've figured out warehouse work isn't for me and is hell. A random piece of advice. If the higher up at a meeting claims their workplace is like a family. RUN

We could just make it so usage of AI art to make a profit is not allowed in media that will be able to be purchased. This would make AI art useless outside of a quick picture and even then no money would be able to be made from AI art. This would make people actually need to make the art if they wanted to make a profit. If this happens, it could lead to AI art being nothing but a non-profitable way to make a quick picture.
