So how exactly can we get the owners of Legend of the Galactic Heroes to re-release the whole 110 episode anime series and all of the films made for it on a complete series on Blu Ray? As big and as well known as the series is, you would think that it would have been given a lot more physical releases than what it got (if any at all)?

It is on Bluray. Sentai Filmworks released a wtfhueg boxset on BD a while back, limited to 1000 copies, for $1000 each (this has to do with Japanese copyright laws and Japanese people generally importing the cheaper Blurays from the USA). The Bluray boxsets ARE available if you import them from Japan, but they're at like $200 a season.
It's also available on streaming services like Hidive. The subtitles for the streaming release as well as the fansubs from the 90s are in varying quality.
Protip, the entire anime got the "special edition" treatment when it was released on DVD. If you're looking to watch it, you're probably going to want to watch the Laserdisc releases; this was enough for me to track down the original LD boxsets.
