(or how many Youtubers only read articles from the wiki)
I was watching a random popular Spanish Lost Media youtuber that I'm not going to mention (yet), I was watching one of his videos and it occurred to me. "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if this person literally just read the articles from the Lost Media wiki without adding anything", and to be sure, I checked the video script and the wiki article of the same subject: And this person literally just read the articles from the lost media wiki without adding anything.
Check a recent video and a video from 2022, both of which consist of articles from the various Lost Media wikis. They are an exact copy of the article, or an exact copy of the version translated by Google. I assume the rest of his videos have the same problem.
don't feel too bad for this person either, he has a membership and makes money from it, also he doesn't mention that he uses the Lost Media wiki as a source.
I was thinking about making a call out post, but I don't want to spend all day reviewing this person's video.
Also, I honestly doubt that the Spanish community even cares. I would even dare to say that they would be more surprised to know that Lost Media YouTubers don't just read wiki articles.
(It could even be that only the videos I checked are the only ones with plagiarized content and the rest of your videos are fine!).
I'm sure there are more cases like this, and I want to make this thread so people can post any "funny coincidences" or literal plagiarism cases they find here.
