I’ll start off by saying I’ve been hesitant to share this as I’m afraid this isn’t real, but I still want to try and find out.
My daycare would put on movies for us to watch. I vividly remember waking up from a nap (yes, I was that young) and on the tv was this video of a little boy with a drum walking through a forest. He was barefoot and it was one of those drums that hung around your neck, I recall him wearing one of those open vests (like what Aladdin wore in the disney movie) and red shorts as well. I’m pretty sure he spoke to a toucan up in one of the trees, but this could just be my brain trying to fill in gaps. It was weirdly peaceful and comforting. The art style was a 2d animation with a style of cool water colors.
At the daycare we usually watched DVDs and VHS. A lot of which were educational or from books, like one had pete’s pizza on it, another baby einstein, and leap frog. I feel like Sesame Street fits the bill for the short’s vibe, but I can’t recall if we ever watched that. Timeframe wise I think it was around 2010 that I watched it, but could easily be older.
The issue is when I brought this short up to the daycare lady she had no idea what I was talking about, granted she was a bit old, which why I was hesitant to share this.
Does anyone have any idea what I’m talking about?
