Lost guru scene from charlie and the chocolate factory(1971)

In test scrennings for the movie, there used to be a scene involving a hiker with a guru, heres the transcript for the scene.
CLIMBER
Oh, great guru, I spent a year of my life searching for you on top of this mountain. I have lost the four members of my party. I am hungry, tired and beaten, but Master, now that I am here tell me...what is the meaning of life.
GURU
You got a Wonka Bar?
CLIMBER
What?
GURU
Wonka Bar, You give Wonka Bar, then ill tell you.
Digging into his pocket, the climber hands over a Wonka Bar.
CLIMBER
Its my last one.
He watches as the old man opens it, and bitterly throws it onto the ground.
CLIMBER
Now, oh holy one, you must tell me.
What is the meaning of life?
GURU
(gazing upon his ungolden Wonka Bar)
Life...is dissapointment.
The director is said to have loved this scene, however, few people found it humurous, the director Mel Stuart decided to invite a friend of his who was a psychologist to view it, to figure out why the scene didnt get much of a reaction, his response to it was "You don't understand, Mel. For a great many people, life is a disappointment."
Currently, no footage or photos of this scene exist, it isnt on any home media release either.
