I'm actually downloading it right now, so I'm gonna do it. You can help out if you want, too. With two people it would be a bit easier and faster, even with over a thousand songs.
ok i'll try but we should make a plan instead of listing to the same songs
you can listen to the first 200 i can listen to the next 200
something like that
i can help but we should make a spreadsheet so we dont listen to the same songs
i just want to say that regarding what i said before about "kajagoogoo" possibly being the band has been debunked. Someone commented on a youtube video and a member from the band (or maybe its one guy idk) said he never heard it. Although, the commenter didn't message the band directly to send them an audio clip so technically, there could be a small chance that it would help to send the audio clip. but i have found in my research that the band/one of the members has blocked people for messaging about ekt. so basically, "kajagoogoo" has been mostly debunked but there's no way to confirm.

I come from the discord, of the official subreddit for EKT. I've been up there a fair bit these last few hours, mostly just theory crafting, planning and what else. From what I can find, I think it's a German or Swedish band that made it, or at least the singer is Swedish or German. Man-X/Monday and Secret Service are the bands that match most closely vocal wise. Bad Boy Blues is also a good match for them vocally speaking, Other than that, IDK much. I think the way to solve is to look locally, like in Spain, where carl92 is supposedly from. IDK that either, there are conflicting reports on that within the community. Personally, I don't think he's from Spain, but I think he is Spanish. Castilian, Latin American, perhaps even Filipino.
After looking into Man-X, it turns out that a man by the name of Thomas Anders did the vocals. He did his own thing in 1989. There's also a live show recording for another band he was in called Chain Reaction, in 1997:
With the crappy quality, you can sure hear EKT in there.
Can't find much on Secret Service on discogs. Ola Håkansson, one of the singers, is a CEO now of TEN Music Group. Maybe he knows more.
Bad Boy Blues is of interest vocally. John McInerney is British, Andrew Thomas is German-American, and Trevor Taylor is Jamaican-German. John may show that I have to add British to my possible list of accents, but Trevor Taylor is an interesting one to me because I also think it could be Jamaican or even Black. That's down to the way I hear "shame" in the lyrics and also "You've got", which has MJ like tone to it. Shame sounds like sheem to me.

Apparently, there are a lot of different versions for Thomas Anders' "Every Word you Said". The lyrics also match a little bit. Maybe it is one of them!
He has a Instagram account, too. Should we try contacting him?

Thomas Anders sings EKT, you mean? Or was the lead singer of Man-X?
He's just the main singer of Man-X according to discogs. IDK if he sings EKT. I don't think he does because it's not a perfect match. <script src="moz-extension://94a826a7-c308-47cd-b427-5153c3dbc80d/js/app.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

I posted these on the discord as possbile leads for some discission.
"Possible lead(s): Lluis Bosch and Ferry Garzia. Both are spanish DJs. Ferry Garzia is said to have worked during EKT's timeline, according to this article: www.deejaysdelleida.com/2013/04/ferry-garzia.html . Lluis Bosch is said to be around 16 when he was in La Discoteca Systema, which is a night club in Lleida, Spain. Article about Lluis Bosch: www.deejaysdelleida.com/2014/10/lluis-bosch.html IDK how good these are but they're better than most IMO I found these, along with the website, via Manuel Lopez, who is also Spanish www.manellopez.com/p/informacion-general.html His info states "Throughout his career, Manel has collaborated with globally recognized brands, such as Coca Cola, Nike, Adidas, Seat, Mercedes, as well as renowned institutions such as the Government of Spain and the Generalitat of Catalonia" "
I'm currently in contact with Manuel Lopez via Facebook, as I believe he's a good shot for the Spanish theory of EKT, which is one of the oldest theroies. That is assuming he recongizes the song and knows the people involved or at least gives me more leads/disconfirms his buds involvement in them.
