Second post in a row but this I am REALLY curious about. According to the Wiki:
"In known prints of this cartoon, the last scene involves the rooster kissing the hen with Daffy quickly zooming in between the two lovers and kissing the hen himself. The hen taps on the rooster's shoulder to alert him of Daffy's presence. The rooster stops kissing and looks up shocked just before the scene abruptly fades to black. According to historian Greg Ford, the original ending involved Daffy saying "If you haven't tried it, don't knock it." It is uncertain whether this was excised from the original release print or from the Blue Ribbon reissue."
That would makes sense as another Looney Tunes short "Hollywood Steps Out" had a similar male-on-male reference removed in the Blue Ribbon re-issue along with several other scenes(in this case with caricatures of Clark Gable and Groucho Marx kissing, with Gable himself demanding the joke get removed as he wanted to keep his reputation as a womanizer) more info here: looneytunes.fandom.com/wiki/Hollywood_Steps_Out#Censorship
The rabbit hole of censored classic animation runs deep - even just in Looney Tunes. These Blue Ribbon reissues have cut many things, like the aforementioned lost endings to Stupid Cupid and Steps Out, but non-reissued cartoons like Hare Remover and Big Snooze also have unexplained cuts. Some edits are obvious, like those in You're An Education. Others are more subtle, like the tobacco scene in Farm Frolics. Some I haven't seen mentioned anywhere, like a jumpcut in Phantom Ship.
If an original print of this exists anywhere, I haven't heard of it, but it's possible. Strange stuff shows up all the time.
