Back in the early 80s, Coca-Cola thought they could reel in younger consumers by cashing in on the video game craze, so they came up with couple of games they installed in their vending machines so gamers could enjoy a quick round while waiting for their drink to be dispensed. One of them was "Catch a Coke," which was developed by Bandai, and actual handheld versions were distributed to Coke employees. This one is very well documented.
But there's apparently another, "Spell Coke," with almost no information out there on it. The hardware can be seen in a picture here: www.handheldmuseum.com/Bandai/CatchACoke.htm
