with them now. (Not that it ever wasn't to begin with lol. But at least there was still an atmosphere of creativity that used to exist in their films. You could see it in what they put out, even if it wasn't always the best.)

And it doesn't help that the movie they're adapting is one of their best works and absolutely DOES NOT DESERVE to be picked apart and "frankensteined" into a cash grab.

I mean, I thought Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was pretty good, and Kung Fu Panda 4 looks promising.

Puss in Boots: TLW was good, I'll admit. I'll be honest, though, KFP 4 makes me nervous. I could see it being really good, but I also see it as really unnecessary. I felt like 3 was a good ending, and I wish DreamWorks would stop going back to endless sequels and make some more new stuff. The Bad Guys was good (honestly, I didn't love it personally, but I appreciate that they made a sincere effort to produce a new, fresh product off of a new IP). And I haven't seen Teenage Kraken, but I've heard mixed reviews, so I don't really know how it turned out.

With the hot mess Disney's been in the last few years, this is DreamWorks' time to shine with some good, fresh animation and storytelling. I just hope they realize that and don't blow it on more mid sequels and new live-action remakes that I don't really think anyone asked for.

(That all being said, will I be anxiously anticipating the almost-mythic Shrek 5? Absolutely.)

Yeah. Tbh, as bad as this sounds, I kinda hope we get some sort of “giga leak” for dreamworks like what happened with Nickelodeon and other companies, and maybe then we’ll find some good lost media from them.

I know this isn’t a deleted scene, since it was never supposed to be canon, but the shrek “I feel good” animation test wasn’t too bad. I do wish the original Farley audio for the animation test still existed, but oh well.

I really dug The Bad Guys personally, Kung Fu Panda as a franchise has always just been kinda OK to me but not amazing, I am a bit skeptical about Shrek 5 though as I have no idea where else that franchise possibly has left to go.

For worse, the entirety of an original version of The New Mutants (2020) was re-edited SUPER last minute to be way less horror and way "more tweeny bopper" and "more superhero-ey” so there are truckloads of deleted scenes there. Including ones that actually develop the characters. Pity.

I don't know if I want to endorse criminal activity or hacking, but it would be nice if someone within DreamWorks would be able to release some things. There's got to be a gold mine in there somewhere with reworked or cancelled media.

I loved KFP as a kid (and honestly, it's still one of my favorite animated movie franchises). I think that 4 is going to be like Toy Story 4 was, imo. Ultimately unnecessary.

Hey, I don’t blame you, but sometimes if we want to get something found, sometimes someone who worked within the studio or project has to resort to some potentially unethical methods.

Now, I wouldn’t do this myself, but if someone else does, I’m not losing sleep over it, and as a matter of fact, depending on what gets illegally distributed online, I’d probably lose sleep for a good reason.

Just to bump this thread, allow me to also add the Extended fight between Flint Lockwood and the Mayor from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

I guess I can see why they cut it down, seeing as flint got stabbed in the back with nachos, and it shows Cal and Earl get sucked into the spaghetti twister, so it could’ve given off the impression they died, but it was still much better in my opinion, and it even has better pacing when added back in with the rest of the film.
