Yes! They've really taken a nose-dive recently. It is all about the with them now. (Not that it ever wasn't to begin with lol. But at least there was still an atmosphere of creativity that used to exist in their films. You could see it in what they put out, even if it wasn't always the best.)
And it doesn't help that the movie they're adapting is one of their best works and absolutely DOES NOT DESERVE to be picked apart and "frankensteined" into a cash grab.
With the hot mess Disney's been in the last few years, this is DreamWorks' time to shine with some good, fresh animation and storytelling. I just hope they realize that and don't blow it on more mid sequels and new live-action remakes that I don't really think anyone asked for.
(That all being said, will I be anxiously anticipating the almost-mythic Shrek 5? Absolutely.)
