Which old youtubers did you use to watch years ago that you haven't seen in years? I used to watch a bunch of Channel Awesome video makers such as the Nostalgia Critic, Angry Joe, Spooner, Linkara from Atop the Fourth Wall, Bennett the Sage from Anime Abandon, and the Cinema Snob but I have basically stopped watching them due to the fact that their new episodes and videos are not as good as their old ones with Spoony not even making new videos at all. I somely watch the new episodes of the Angry Video Game Nerd, though not as much as I used to and I basically only watch Todd in the shadows' One Hit Winderland videos, though otherwise, Todd in the shadows is the only one I watch on a regular basis.
Mostly Channel Awesome stuff and all those AVGN ripoffs. I think "Games that Suck" (AVGN ripoff) may have been my first real Youtuber experience in 2007/08. Made me laugh until I cried like no tomorrow then.
I tried rewatching his stuff recently and it's...well, it's very 2007/08 LOL.
I, too, watched a lot of the old Channel Awesome creators, particularly The Nostalgia Critic, Todd In The Shadows, Linkara, and The Cinema Snob. Haven't seen a single video from any of them in years, with no desire to revisit their old stuff or start with any of their new stuff.
Other favorite creators I watched back in the day were: James@War The Key Of Awesome Mystery Guitar Man Irate Gamer Community Channel Also haven't seen anything from any of those channels in years, and haven't really thought to look them up again to see if they even still make content.
I know you're only talking to keep the silence out Maybe you should listen and leave some room for doubt You're just handing out bad reputations Why don't you shut your mouth? -Motorhead, "Overnight Sensation"
A lot of the Channel Awesome people. Now the only ones I still watch are Snob and Phelous.
Continue?
They would do short let's plays then at the end would say if they would play more (continue) or not. I think I stopped watching because the formula was getting a bit tiring. But apparently they still upload stuff, which means they have been doing it for 12 years which is dedication.
Awesome Video Games & Video Games Awesome! One of them was a sketch comedy. The other, by the same people, was similar to Continue where they would do Let's Plays and sometime react to trailers. Similarly that I just go sick of the LP formula.
How it Should Have Ended was really good about 7 years ago. After that, I think they got a little stale.
But when I was a youngling, I watched a lot of AMVs. Mainly from channels like NightFuryLover31 and thefanvideoer2 (I was a hopeless How to Train Your Dragon fan in the early-mid 2010s).
Going through these channels again makes me feel old. I was seeing some videos on NFL31's channel (probably my favorite one of the bunch) that were 9 and 10 years old. I remember when those were NEW. I watched them. NEW.
Just put me in the old folks' home, already. I like tapioca, anyway.
