Hey all, in case you're not aware, Giggle And Hoot was a kid's TV show that had many live-recorded segments that would air between shows on ABC4Kids in Australia.
One of these segments was called the "Giggle Gallery" in which they would showcase fanart that was sent to them from kids, most of the time the art they would show was drawn by kids aged 4-8 years old. However, one time when I was a kid, sometime between the years of 2011 and 2013 (Although I think it would be most likely to be 2011, when I was 6), they showed an artwork in the Giggle Gallery that looked like it was drawn by someone much older than the target age demographic. My memory is obviously slightly fuzzy, but there was definitely an artwork that looked clashing alongside all the children's art, and I swear I remember it being a grayscale realistic drawing of Giggle and Hoot, drawn in graphite pencil maybe. It absolutely shocked me to see when I was a kid, I couldn't believe that someone was even capable of drawing something like that, and that someone would dedicate that skill to drawing Giggle and Hoot of all things.
I'd love to see it again, and maybe being the judge of if it really was even as good as I remember, since obviously as a kid you're more prone to seeing artwork as being better than it really is. I tried looking through YouTube videos of the Giggle Gallery, most of the videos I could find were just parents of the children whose art was featured only recording one drawing being shown. But, I did manage to find this video that compiles quite a few segments of it, some in HD but some that look to be recorded from a phone in front of the screen: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLnm2mMuUIM Unfortunately, none of the artwork in this video is like what I remember at all. If it helps, I do believe it to be from 2011, back when the show first started airing.
The reason I'm not putting it in the "Lost Media" board is because maybe there is a chance I imagined it. But if there's any other Aussies that were a kid at the time who remember this and thus can confirm it did exist, please let me know!
