Been rewatching the original 1987 TMNT series and I was blown away by the fact that they had a Simpsons reference of all things. It's surreal to hear what was once the longest running animated series of all time reference a then-new cartoon that went on to surpass it's nine-year run several times over.
I got into Kaze to ki no uta recently and I found out that Keiko Takemiya made a Star Wars parody using some of the characters that are present in the manga series. Then I looked further and found out that the manga was published in 1976 and Star Wars came out in 1977. The pioneer of the boys-love genre is older than the entire Star Wars franchise and I think it's hillarious

and here is a bit of said parody lol ^_^
I think it's more of a Space Battleship Yamato parody. That anime predated Star Wars by a few years.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

It's weird for someone like me, who has mostly researched about old school European cartoons, to say that it's probably parodying some 70s anime that I am not all too familiar with, but then again I do know A LOT of anime & manga, so what am I even saying?

Actually it's more shocking seeing the latest seasons of the 1st TMNT cartoon(the Red Sky seasons) to mention the internet, seeing as that was when it became more accessible to the general public.

That too, AVGN even commented on that in his TMNT retrospective video.
Imagine discovering an old diary hidden in your attic, detailing daily life from a century ago. As you read through its pages, filled with mundane details and heartfelt emotions, time seems to fold in on itself. The past suddenly feels tangible, almost present, blurring the boundary between then and now. Such encounters with history can profoundly reshape our perception of time, making the distant past feel remarkably close.

It IS possible, but very rare & like, most people probably don't bother going to the attic or basement in their homes.

To be serious though, a friend of mine actually has a request for saying a fact here, and it takes the thread's subject literally.
There's a word that exists called "Tachysensia", and it's a neurological disorder that, for a period of a few minutes, speeds up your brain's perception of time, but has the side-effect of amplifying the loudness of sound.
For something as fundamental as how we see the world, this word does not appear on Wiktionary, Collin's English Dictionary, Merriam Webster, The American Heritage Dictionary, Oxford, WordNet, Project Gutenberg, or even the Internet Archive (via Google search crawlers).
The last major time it was studied was in the 1930s by somebody with a small Wikipedia page who discovered that it has a relation to chemicals in the body heated up.
Apparently, my friend who has it took him weeks worth of digging online to find a word to describe his symptoms, before stumbling onto a subreddit founded in 2018 called r/fastfeeling. Without that, there's almost nowhere on The Internet to debunk whether or not my friend is crazy.
Now when I think about it, due to this word being almost completely unheard of with a completely unknown origin, is it hypothetically possible for etymology to qualify for an article on the Wiki, or are there other places better suited for the job?
TLDR; Yes, you can overclock your brain, but it's unpredictable.
