The image is so blurry that a lot of us couldn't even tell it was animated, especially me who hasn't even watched the 80s Alvin And the Chipmunks cartoon.
I do find it weird that some people were mention horror stuff instead of just putting two and two together. Little kids are probably watching something that a little kid would watch.
Here's the problem: Kids would wanna act tough & thus they would try to watch R rated movies to look tough. That's why there were cartoons based on Rambo & RoboCop for crying out loud! Even TOYLINESwere made!!!

Not really, but some executives would see children watching it & they'd then make the call to make merchandise for R rated movies, having the merchandise(not just the toylines & cartoons, but also video games) are marketed towards such a crowd. They aren't responsible for it, but the executives are, more or less exploiting how naive & immature kids can be.
