I've been searching for this possibly lost forever browser game I played in what must have been the early to mid 2000's.
The browser game featured an old style dollhouse with furnishings, in which a doll of a little girl (also old fashioned) was placed inside. Clicking on certain places within the dollhouse would either cause the doll to interact with the object or to interact with you. For example, if you clocked on a teddy, she would pick it up and hug it. If you clicked it again, she would turn away from you as though you were trying to take it away.
There was no music, with the only sound being her footsteps or sound effects of the objects being picked up and put down.
The game had a dark side, as some of the objects would result in the doll's death. I don't remember there being any blood. For example, one of the clickable objects was a bottle of poison or lye. You would need to click it multiple times t get her to interact with it, as she would shake her head no or otherwise behave in a "please don't make me do this' manner. When she did eventually interact with it, she would drink it then slowly collapse on the dollhouse counter. Here the game's silence was brutal as it just stays on this image.
That's all I remember about it. The vibe was anxious and sad, as this doll felt so vulnerable in that little house. Quite the art piece for early internet media.

I can't say I've ever come across it myself, but it sounds interesting. By stop-motion, do you mean that it was a 3D game, or 2D with stop motion animations for the interactions you described?
Do you remember any loading screens or credits or the like, stuff that might've shown the name?

This Reddit thread describes a similar game called Play With Me? (as a warning, some depictions are said to be based on child abuse): https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmyjoystick/comments/ia4ccq/pcweb_browserearlymid_2000s_pointandclick_flash/
