Hi there, I've been looking around for the cable TV version (I think usually it's on Spike or VH1) of Paul Verhoeven's Showgirls. While its infamy as a misunderstood subversive art film vs. softcore porno is an interesting topic, I'm more interested in the censorship itself in terms of the "why bother" factor, sort of like TV edits of Scarface, Striptease, and Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke). There've been a few articles published and plenty of video clips of selected scenes (also completely sfw except for the context of the movie I suppose) but I'd like to know if there's a proper recording of one of the more recent re-broadcasts of the film, if there have been any.
