Old game on Windows 3.11 computer

I used to play this game on my parents old windows 3.11 computer. I vaguely remember it had rows and columns of either letters or numbers or symbols of some kind, each of them inside a gray square.

I remember playing it about 5-7 years ago and I right clicked on one of the squares and a cherry popped up inside. I wish I could remember more, but I have been searching for months and just cannot find anything close to this.

It's not minesweeper.

My parents had a variety of games on this computer, including Chips Challenge and Ski Free. Also had the afterdark screen saver program.
