The photo featured in this post is a screenshot of an interview with John Wayne Gacy victim Rob Piest's parents during the initial investigations. It was taken from a 1994 Gacy documentary that shared a snippet of the footage (please see the 3:32 mark in the video I linked in this post). There were other interviews with other victims' parents (such as the Godziks and Butkovichs) featured, but I was able to find them in contemporary news segments shared in youtube and the peacock Devil in Disguise documentary.
With that Piest family interview however, that 90s documentary was the only source I was able to access it. Even then, as I mentioned in the previous paragraph, the film only featured some brief moments from it. No matter how hard I searched online, I wasn't able to procure a copy of that interview.
However, someone told me in a youtube comment that they recognized it from a contemporary WGN segment, and they remember watching the interview while it aired. Even still, I searched for any WGN archives and websites, and couldn't find it. I then sent an email to them about it and they denied that it was in their inventory.
I've read in a contemporary article on a newspaper archive that the Piest family gave an interview at their home on December 19, 1978, which I'm assuming was when that footage was filmed.
Is there likely an archive somewhere where old news segments like the Piest family interview are stored? If so, would it be alright if you could point me to it? Any help would be appreciated, and thanks for taking the time to read this post.

On an unrelated side note, another contemporary article mentioned that Piest's sister was also a guest speaker on the Joe Oteri radio show alongside the mother of a David Berkowitz victim. From my understanding, the titular host was an attorney that spoke on widely publicized criminal and alleged paranormal cases in the 70s, but I couldn't find anything pertaining to his work. Is there a good chance there is a recording of that segment laying around in some sort of vault?
