Future Living 2025 or 2025: Future Living was a documentary that aired on the (Discovery) Science Channel in 2002, predicting what the year 2025 is in store for us. A description on an archived page on science.discovery.com provides on of what was the only direct proofs of its existence, being part of the "Digital Domain" anthology series:
Ever since 2002, the documentary was never seen again until 2007, the video was once reuploaded to YouTube, with links to the video being posted on sites like the TechEBlog and SgForums. But due sheer length of this video (44:56 to be specific) and the 10 minute video limit that Youtube used have, the Video has to be uploaded into 5 parts. Unfortunately in 2007, the YouTube account that had uploaded those videos has been terminated and the video was never seen again for the second time.
One of the last remains of this video was a image of the Virtual Avatar that was shown in the documentary (they predicted VTubers :0) and the other surviving bit (technically) was clip of a Japanese reusable rocket concept albeit with an electronic soundtrack and without the text. Here is the video in question:
But the story takes a turn. Reddit user omeglidan has a recording of the documentary, which mikusingularity uploaded the documentary to YouTube January 6th 2024 (at 18:46:52 European time) and the search has finally been concluded for the second time! In the description states why he reuploaded the documentary (for obvious reasons, of course) with a Disclaimer at the start insisting that he does not own this video. And also, I downloaded the video just in case this becomes lost again. (it's 111 MB)
