A July 2002 build of Hot Wheels Velocity X was found by MOVGAMES! It's got plenty of differences from the final release, including 2 cars which weren't even known about until the build was uncovered! You can find gameplay of it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvK9ppK2n_o
Edit: Oh! And if you're unfamiliar with the game (which I assume most people are), MOVGAMES even made an 18 page PDF file describing all the changes from this build to the final one!
