I remember this weird low-budget live-action Easter movie that was played in my preschool classroom on Easter day in 2013 maybe. I remember it looking quite old, could've been made in the 70s or 80s.
From my memory, it was about a little girl who sees the "Easter Bunny" (a man in a cheaply made bunny suit) in the woods. She goes to see him and becomes friends with him, but for some reason she has to keep it a secret from her family. I remember a scene where she makes a decoy of herself out of objects and covers it under her bed sheets to make it look like she was sleeping, so she could sneak out and go see the Easter Bunny. Also the Easter Bunny spoke and had a deep-ish voice.
That's all I remember about the story, and I remember finding it a bit unnerving that this little girl was secretly hanging out with an adult man in the woods (she sat on his knee at one point as well which is creepy af). I can't remember what it was called or who it was made by or anything like that. I've searched around for it but couldn't find anything.
If anyone can find anything about it, that'd be great. I'm curious to see if it's as creepy as I remember it being.

No, that's not it. None of the details I remember are present in it. Also it actually looks nice and not super budget lol. Thanks for replying though, appreciate it!
Is it "Mr. Horatio Knibbles"? I'm not able to find a copy of the full movie to see if it has that specific scene in question, but it fits the 1970s era and general premise. Here's the trailer for it:
I assume, as you saw it in a preschool classroom, it's likely to be a family movie? My initial hunch was to look at horror movies, based on "bunny man lures child to woods," but I doubt a preschool teacher would play a horror movie in class. So far, this is the only movie about a bunny man and young girl I can find, but I'll keep looking.

This is what the studio that made Winnie the Pooh blood and honey is going to do when A Wild Hare (the first true appearance of Bugs Bunny) enters the public domain (also what is the film even about lol I watched the trailer and could barely tell.

I found a copy of the movie this evening on ok.ru, basically Russian youtube, and I am now much more certain this is the movie, as it does feature a scene where the little girl sneaks out by putting a bowling ball and pillow under her bed sheets. However, that's a very common trope so it still may not be the movie, and other details don't line up with OP's description.
To answer your question, the premise is that a little girl is about to have a birthday and tells everyone that she wants a pet rabbit, but is very unpopular and gets made fun of. She then meets a whimsical rabbit man who can only be seen by people who swear they love rabbits and count to ten, and the two spend most of the movie trolling and pranking all the nay-sayers in her life. Cute film.

I reckon that's it. It looks very familiar, and the little girl looks exactly how I remember her looking. I must've remembered it as being a lot more creepy than it actually is, it seems like a relatively sweet movie 😅 Thanks so much for finding it!
