When I was in middle school, I participated in the school quiz bowl (If you don't know what that is, it's a trivia competition team, think like a team-based Jeopardy. If you need a specific example, it's the team that Peter Parker is on in Spider Man: Homecoming). In quiz bowl, we call buzzing in and answering wrong "negging", with "negs" docking you points. One day, we were practicing when a girl on the other team buzzed. The answer to the question was "George Washington Carver", but she just answered "George Washington", so the teacher keeping score of points thought about whether to count it as wrong (and give her a neg), count it as right (and give her a point), or just throw out the question entirely. The teacher took so long, that one of my friends on my team (who was white) sighed and said (fairly quickly, so the words kind of jumbled together in his mouth), "C'mon, at this point, just neg her."
Back in the 1997-1998 school year, when I was in 10th grade, It was a Friday, and I had just got home from school, when the phone started ringing. My mom picked it up, listened for a couple minutes, and hung up. She turned to me and told me that it was my then-best friend, Nick, on the phone, and he had just got the news that another friend of ours, Kevin, who had been out on vacation with his family, had been killed in a skiing accident. Obviously saddened by this terrible news, I called Nick back and got the confirmation from him. So, for that entire weekend, I was mourning the loss of a good friend, and being told on Saturday that the wake and funeral would be the next week, my mom took me shopping for dress clothes, on which she spent somewhere over $100 to make sure I looked nice during everything. I was also calling and talking to other friends of ours, letting them know what had happened if they didn't already know, and soon virtually the entire school knew by the end of the weekend, even most of the staff and teachers, since it was such a small school and the entire school, including students, staff, and teachers only had about 350 people total for grades 8 -12.
Come Monday morning, as I was looking through my locker for some papers I needed for one of my classes, when Kevin, who had a locker very close to mine, showed up and greeted me. All I could do was stand and stare at him, being extremely confused and not understanding what the hell was going on. Everyone else around us was also staring for some time, before someone finally asked, "Aren't you supposed to be dead?" Now it was Kevin's turn to be confused, slowly drawing out a "Noooooo..." Before long, Nick, who had told me the news originally comes up, laughing and crying about how funny this all was. Amid more confusion, he finally explained that it was all a "prank," and that obviously no one had died. Confusion and shock quickly turned to anger, and some of us, including myself, started yelling at him, telling him just how unfunny, heartless, and immature this whole thing was. Considering the noise we were all making voicing our hatred for what our so-called friend had done, a couple of teachers had come out to the hallway to see what was going on, and after several of us explained what had happened, those teachers, because he had gotten almost every living human being in the school building involved, decided that he needed to see the principal for causing such a disruption throughout the weekend and that Monday morning.
Nick ended up getting out-of-school suspension for, if I remember correctly, about a month, then had in-school suspension added for about another 2 weeks after that. On top of that, I wasn't the only one that had gone out and purchased clothes for the non-existent funeral, and he got berated by I don't know how many parents, including my mom, who forced him to pay her back the money she spent after a talk with his dad. Needless to say, Nick was not very well liked for a long time after that, and he lost a lot of friends over it.

During the 2021-2022 school year, I had to sit in a different desk then I normally had to, which I was slightly disappointed by (can’t remember why, as this was well over a year ago). I then jokingly said “no”, and the teacher was just bitter as hell and told me to leave the classroom. Like, I was going to sit down there, I was joking.
If I didn’t believe some people couldn’t take a joke then, I certainly would now.
Okay I frick you not, your thread must've been a divine intervention from me and my hatred for other people because I've been fuming about this all day. Just today I was in the hall at my high school. There are these three girls talking in the hall in their own world, not being disruptive. One of them drops an F-bomb then I Frick you not a teacher apparen named Mr Atkins yells "WATCH YOUR MOUTH" like a fricking Maniac. This is just awful because they were in their own world just joking around not mad and HE felt the need to butt into a PRIVATE conversation and cause trouble. FRICKER!!!!

Oh, and another crazy thing that happened (though not really any punishment), in the ancient age of earlier today, we were getting back from lunch, and one of the students said, and I kid you not: “Come on retards, let’s go!”
He didn’t get in trouble for it, but he did get disapproving looks from the teachers. I wasn’t offended though. If anything, I actually thought it was pretty damn funny, just because it came out of nowhere.
None of the other students seemed offended either. In fact, “retard” is a very commonly-used word among my classmates, unless teachers are around.
And now for something dumb I did: That same day (well, technically ever since I started going to high school), I always “pushed my chair in” by pretending to fuck the chair, which usually got a laugh out of everyone. One of the students looked at me and asked “Are you always so horny?”
Not technically the dumbest thing anyone got in trouble for, but still thought it was worth sharing.
I was talking really quiet to another kid and the teacher kicked me out of the class. No one likes the teacher and she's crazy so it wasn't that crazy to be kicked out of her class.
