As the thread's title suggests, this is about lost logos, or vanity plates if you will. Yes, really. There are quite a lot of these out there, ranging from some obscure logos & variants from well known companies, old TV station IDs from before home recordings became common(and even still common in a couple of countries around the 90s-2000s) & some incredibly obscure home media companies that almost no one's ever heard of. Believe it or not, there are a lot of them out there & some have been discussed on these forums such as the foghorn variant of the United Plankton Pictures logo, or more infamously amongst the logo community, a logo that was supposedly attached to this comedic warning screen. Do I even NEED to explain the T.A.T. Communications Company logo? That one ALONE is pretty darn infamous.
However, there DO exist other lost logos out there. A lot of them are listed on The Lost Logos Hub, though a couple of them have been found throughout the years: web.archive.org/web/20240000000000*/https://lostmediaarchive.fandom.com/wiki/The_Lost_Logos_Hub
The Audiovisual Identity Database(AVID) also has a section for them: www.avid.wiki/Category:Pages_with_missing_in_action_logos
With that said, here is a list of a couple of ones I consider interesting in my opinion:
Diamond Video (Greece?): Seen on the Lost Logos Hub page, this logo is alleged to have originated from Greece, but only a single image of it has been found, which consists of a shiny, rainbow reflecting diamond standing on top of a couple of lines & "DIAMOND VIDEO" below them in its own red void. Could be a cel-animated logo.
Star Ray TV (Canada): A supposed pirate TV station from Canada that was based around communities. It reportedly had a show called Shadow And Friends, but this show's existence is unconfirmed as no evidence of it exists other than the station's mascot being a German shepherd named Shadow. Star Ray TV's website has screenshots of these station IDs, but no video capture of them has surfaced from what I could research.
Laser Video (Germany): A supposed home video logo from a German company, which might've been up on some video site before something happened that made the logo lost. An image of the final part of the logo can be found on the Closing Logos Group page, but otherwise nothing else has surfaced of it.
AJC Video (France): Another home video logo, this time presumably from France. Footage of this one exists, but it is assumed to be incomplete. I've seen the exact video of the incomplete capture about 4 years ago & AdjustTracking, the uploader of said incomplete capture, has said nothing on where he/she got it from.
PTV (Pakistan): Their 3rd logo has a partial recording available, but only the audio has been found in full.
YNSA-TV (Nicaragua): An old TV station from Nicaragua, with this station ID dating back to 1957 & ending sometime in 1962, where it merged with Canal 6. Only a single image has been located of it.
Nandita Films (India): This was reportedly seen in the 1997 movie, Attoshat, but when the movie was found, the logo wasn't there nor after the credits, still meaning that it's missing.
Video Blue (Argentina): A couple of covers for various VHS releases from an Argentine company called Video Blue have been found online, but no captures of them seem to exist online, making the logo lost.
Wah Tai (Hong Kong?): A single image of a supposed Chinese/Hong Kong logo has appeared known as "Wah Tai". The source of this image is currently unknown & no known Bilibili video of this logo is known to exist in any way.
TV1 (Iran): This logo has an outline of the map of Iran in 3D, with a transmitter tower at the center. The text "TV1" & some Persian text are located under the map. Only a TV-DX capture is apparently known to exist for this one.
Xphima Video (Greece): There exists several VHS covers containing a drawing of the company logo, but the logo of the company that is contained in the tapes themselves, if it exists, is currently lost.
TES-TV (Finland): The original name for Tesvisio, before being replaced by TV-ohjelma 2. While the Tesvisio ID has been located, the one for TES-TV hasn't.
Tajikistan TV (no prizes for figuring it out): The 1st station ID(early-mid 1990s) has been located & the 2nd one is claimed to be partially found, but the 3rd & 4th station IDs are currently only known through 2 still images, 1 for each.
Icestorm Entertainment (Germany): A supposed home video logo from 1997-2012(their 2nd one from afterwards has been located & is available), whose only evidence is from a Discogs listing of the company.
CLT (Lebanon): Tele Liban's original name, of which only one single image of their CLT station ID has surfaced online.
Pathe (France): Their 1970s-1980s logo(which has a red-colored rooster in a white rectangle, with their company name put above a line stating, "TRADEMARK OF QUALITY SINCE 1896") is at large currently, possibly having only been seen in some anniversary reels not seen by the general public.
Cartoonia (Spain): Can't seem to find anything on this logo online, so I would assume it's lost?
Star Records Video (Philippines, 1995-2000): The original name for Star Home Video; where the 1st of 2 Star Records Video logos could be found on is unknown.
On top of these, there also exist logos that HAVE been found, but their origins are unknown apart from possibly what country they come from(these ones will feature links to where you can view these mysterious logos, as well as listing years that they were supposedly in use):
Asaka Vision (Indonesia, 1980s): A relatively unknown home video logo from Indonesia, which plays the beginning of "Me And I" from ABBA.
Capstone Entertainment (USA, time period unknown): Only known to have surfaced in the video, "Over 200 VHS Logos".(EDIT: Source of logo has been found; it's from Get Street Smart, which was featured on an episode of Best of the Worst; thanks apocalypsemoose for this information!)
Moonlight Productions (France?/Belgium?, 1980s): A weird logo that a YouTube user named Badoll Bobo found from an unknown source.
LBC Video (USA?/Vanuatu?, 1980s): This one is perplexing as all heck. Apparently this logo is for some home video company from Vanuatu, but nothing can be found online of this supposed company. In fact, the source for where this logo comes from is some American band? Did they make the logo themselves, or was it ripped from some other tape from Vanuatu like what AVID says?
Intermovie (UK, 1983-1984?): A home video logo that has a synth noise, complete with a few lasting for longer than expected & a long awaited moment of silence. Also a weird tape-head creature on the top right.(EDIT: It apparently showed up on Killer Cop. A VHS release of that movie from Intermovie exists)
MYP Productions (UK, 1980s): Another British home video logo.
Honey Home Video (some say Greece, but I thought of the Philippines, 1990): I talked about it beforehand on this thread.

Jezebel Films (Italy, 2003): Their 1st logo from 1986 is from Lussuria, but the source of the 2003 logo is unknown.
Clear Vision Video (UK, 1992-1998): Another UK home video company. Woop de freakin' doo.(EDIT: Turns out that these guys did Gladiators VHS releases back then)
CVD (France?/Belgium?, 1980s): A downright bizarre & kinda creepy logo, with its haunting music, weird animation, the background being a very bleak black, alongside there being NO INFORMATION available on this company anywhere online. Most of what you'd find would be that of a Thailand VCD company.
Cálido Vídeo (Spain, 1980s): Might've distributed various anime to Spain?
GVR Realvision (Italy, 1980s): Battlestar Galactica theme lol
Hondufilms (Honduras, 2005-2006): Their 1st logo is currently uncounted for, but their 2nd logo has been found on El Paletero.
Movie Machine (UK, early 1980s): I swear there are so many of these weird home video logos.
PMA Video (UK, 1982-1984): We can never escape the British logos, can we?(EDIT: Supposedly it showed up on Dead of Night. Not sure if it's the same logo, or it's a different one, but it does seem to be a PMA Video original)

Lusomondo (Portugal, 1988-2000s): Similar to Time Video & Ultra VCD, only this is from Portugal.
Atom Films (USA?/South Africa?/perhaps Sweden?, 1985): Apparently once thought to be from South Africa, but we apparently(?) now know(?) that it's American(?)
EVS Entertainment (Thailand, 1990s-2018): Most of their logos' origins are uncounted for apparently?
Genessee Valley Video (USA, 1986): Might be based out of Michigan due to their name being similar to the Genessee Valley Center. Might even be related? Though no one's sure as to what city is being outlined in the logo.
Goldlight Video (Germany, 1990s?): A CGI sky home video logo. Also has some nice music.
Henan Yinhai Audiovisual Publishing House (China, 1990s-2000s): From the province of Henan comes this typical home video logo. The music is nice, but it's otherwise a bit samey.

Radio Televisión Peruana (guess, 1977-late 1980s): I guess not many people in Peru remembered these back when the channel was around?
New Age Entertainment (UK, 1994-1996): Their 1st logo(from 1992-1994) has been found on Fatal Proposal, but their 2nd logo hasn't been seen on any known releases.
Yangon Film (Myanmar, 1972): A nice break from all of the home video logos, albeit a very short one... ok, I actually found the source for this one, it's a movie called Kanyar Pyo Nae Zayar Ao.
