You'd think that after seven years, wardrobe would know what to do with characters, but on the same Blue's Clues special that has the Blue Prints footage, there is a single shot of Joe and Steve in the episode Joe Gets a Clue. In it, Joe is wearing a green button-down shirt instead of one of his usual square sweaters.
Due to the "internal use only" at the bottom, it's unlikely we'll get it, but it would be nice to catalogue it somewhere. There might be other changes between the dress shirt version and the final.
