a show i watched as a child

hey lostmediaers. ive come to talk about a show i remember watching as a kid, that ive been thinking about for ages. i remember that the show was about a superhero kid and their dog sidekick i think? i remember that one of the episodes was about a candy monster turning the kid's parents into candy, and i remember that i saw that episode more than once. also im british so maybe it was on some kind of british tv channel? id say that the show was in the early-late 2010s. hope u can help! thanks
