A girl gets violently pulled underground by plants

My mom and dad like to watch movies and shows at night. When I was younger they watched this one show that scared me. I think it was from a series, I may be wrong about that. It showed a little girl playing outside in her backyard. The screen then zooms into her feet and reveals that plants are slowing crawling up her leg. The plants then start to pull her underground and the girl’s sister watches from the back door in horror. The house was weird though, it looked like one of those doll houses that can open so you can play in them. It then cuts to what I think is the sister but she is now older, maybe 20-30 years of age, getting what seemed like interviewed like if she was a witness of a murder. It was definitely live action and not a cartoon. The parents of the kids might have been in this, I don’t really remember though. That’s all that I remember. I asked my dad about this show, he said he does not remember watching anything like that.
