Hi hi, LMC! Been a little while. I don't have any big life updates to share, other than that my birthday is coming up. (November 8th, I'll be 21.)
So, recently, I have been peeking in on the current trend of the interest in lostwave. Lostwave, for those unfamiliar, is basically songs with unknown artists and titles. Songs with little to no information, and usually are only snippets. (But some are full songs.) And I've been wanting to listen to some!
I used to be subscribed to a channel who uploaded them (called Jay Kade or something??) but the account has since been terminated.
If you want to, feel free to share your favorite lostwave songs to me! I'd love to listen to what you share! I'll even add 'em to my playlist!
I would like to grow it too, as the termination of that Jay Kade channel made me lose a bunch of music. Fire away! I'll check back in a few hours. Thanks! <3
Oooo! Thank you! Here are my honest thoughts, in order of each song you listed:
1. Reminds me of something that would play as an intro song from a show from the late 70s-early 80s. 2. lol the Fluttershy pic used in the video. Very early 2000s, it feels like a song I've heard before. I would like to know the origin. 3. This song feels sorta melancholic. Sounds like a song about of a regret of life choices. But that's me. 4. This song was actually just found a few days ago according to YouTube? Apparently it's called Autobahn. Strange. Case solved?? 5. Interesting, a lost chiptune song. Gives me vibes of a "everyone's saved, party's over, let's go home" to a video game. 6. Sounds like something I would hear in a mall department store, while looking at overpriced jeans and t-shirts. 7. This sounds like a song my sister would listen to while browsing Myspace. 8. Ah, tape distortion. Besides that, strong 80s show opening theme vibes. I picture a family living in the Caribbean islands, natural 80s sitcom hijinks ensue. 9. Goddamn, this bops! I would also love to know who made this one! I was bopping my head back and forth while listening. Also yeah, description you gave is accurate. 10. Vibes I get from this one is: song montage of a protagonist to a show/movie slowly gaining their confidence/strength back when they push through a rough patch with the power of friendship. 11. Sounds like video game intro music, even though I read this was taken from a radio. Still sounds like it to me. 12. I agree with you on that one. I haven't much else to say about this one. 13. "I hate problems and avoid them" fat mood.

Here’s one of have been looking for! I find this song really catchy and it makes me happy in a way. But sadly, I can’t find anything online for it. youtu.be/ag9iaWX4JGQ?si=vYJHW3WuNaJyH8eg
in the comments the youtuber that posted the video said they contacted the radio station and they are waiting for them to respond!

Holy SHIT that's a lot lmfao!! Jay Kay, ooohhh that was the name. Any reason why his channel was terminated? I never found out what happened. But thank you for all the songs!

Thanks, apparently it was copyright infringement. I know you lost tons of music so I'll send you this other channel who uploads them. It's just called Q

Regarding all of the songs you sent, here are my top faves. I omit found songs from my playlist as I solely focus on the unknown ones. I hope you don't mind:
1. Digital World. God I love this one so much, very nostalgic to me as a 2000s baby. I miss when music sounded like this. 2. TMMS is a bop as always, I already have it on the playlist though, at the very top. 3. Alice's Song/Under the Stars is also hauntingly beautiful. I hope this one is solved too. 4. Base Bazaar has a catchy instrumental! Love the tropical feel of it lol. 5. A Fool Was I, gives me old movie sad song vibes. 6. Downfall sounds like a song my older sister would've listened to. 7. The Fall of the King definitely is in the genre of rock my dad listens to. 8. Your Eyes is another late 90s-2000s song I desperately want found. I feel like we are close. 9. The dragon ball one is epic. What's the story behind that one?
Also I have to say, thank you for those who have replied so far! All of these songs are amazing and go insanely hard. Let's hope someday, more of these are identified!
My playlist is updated! I recommend you please check it out before recommending any songs, I have been thinking about making it more open, where people can add songs as well.
Edit: I have decided to allow people to collaborate and add music. My only rule is to please add songs that have yet to be identified. I wanna bring more attention to them. Thank you.

In the dragonball Q one there was a guy who found it in his computer. Apparently he had downloaded, and modified it back in the day. It was eventually solved because the person who made it asked him to take it down. It was actually named Anzu01 (the youtuber he made the song for.)
Hmm. This isn't lostwave but has a similar vibe, it's something my friend made a while ago in the style of Petscop/early 00s video game nostalgia/vaporwave.
_alexpine_ on discord. 2018 was HOW many years ago?!?! If RPGMakerFan12 is so good, why isn't there an RPGMakerFan13? lostmediawiki.com/User:BrightyLighty
