Back around 2006 - 2008, I remember seeing these really strange claymation shorts/fillers in-between shows on Teletoon. I think these came on somewhat late at night, but not too late, like around 9pm - 10pm or so. They featured these two characters who looked like deformed midgets doing random stuff in some bizarre, usually filthy-looking setting. I think one of them had an orange head and the other one a blue one. Not sure about that. Anyhow, there's only two shorts which I actually remember the content of. In the first one,the two of them were both standing on the opposite ends of a teeter-totter,taking turns jumping on it and launching each other up into the air. When one of them was launched up into the air,his body parts would fly off,and then as the other one was launched up his corresponding body parts would also fly off and they would swap. So,for example, one of them would fly up and then his arms would fall off, then the other guy would go up and his arms would also fall off, and then the first guy's arms would attach themselves to the second guy's body, and vice versa. They kept swapping body parts like this for a little while, until the short ended with both of their heads falling off and also swapping bodies. In the second one, I think they were running around in some sort of maze, and the walls looked really filthy and damp. They try lots of different paths, run into dead ends ect ect, and then the short ends when they find their way out of the maze. Does anybody know what this is ?
i grew up with teletoon and i remember there was alot of random shorts on there, most of wich are lost/hard to find, i remember one about cgi pirates who went around stealing underwear as their treasure, two cgi? fire fighter characters who always competed for things ussually girls, and a short now thanks to site confirmed to be rintindumb about a dumb dog, iam positive there was alot more, but these are the 3 i remember, i imagen they are all really obscure, maybe try looking into xilam its confirmed to be the prouduction company behind rintindumb one of the mostly lost shorts from this era
Oh yeah,I remember those underwear pirates hahaha ! That was claymation too, right ? Did Xilam do any claymation ? It would be nice if we could find some of these shorts, they're pretty interesting/bizarre, especially this one that I'm thinking of . Now that I think about it though,I'm not sure if this even had any sort of title card or anything. I think it would just kinda start. This could make it even harder to find :/ . Not sure about that tho, maybe there was a title card and I just forgot.

For some reason from your description of it, it made me think of some of the old ytv bumpers from the early 2000s when they were all about "embracing the weird" or something like that. Iam pretty sure there was a claymation bumper wich featured guys doing something that mixed their body parts around, other bumpers from this time generally included some weird type of alien thing with multiple eyes that said ytv.

Oh yeah,I just watched some of those bumpers and I think the claymation style is similar. The thing is,I'm pretty sure these shorts lasted maybe about 1-2 mins each tho, while these bumpers are only a couple of seconds. Also, they always featured the same two characters, while the YTV bumpers have all sorts of different random characters appearing in each one. Plus,I'm pretty sure I saw it on Teletoon, not YTV. It's really odd tho,how the claymation style looks so similar. Maybe it was done by the same company ?
Hey, I've been looking for this series for a long time as well, usually quitting after searching for a while. I found it!
The specific one with the orange and blue guy you're talking about is called "Martini and Meatball". It was part of an anthology by Nelvana called "FunPak" where they showed a bunch of different shorts.
yes! thats not the exact short i was thinking of, i think the one i remember actually was a ytv bumper lol, either way i deffiently remember that short too! fun pak, interesting:0
Actually, after reading over your post again, I'm not exactly sure if what I said is the show you're talking about.
Well either way, if anyone else was looking for the same "weird shorts" on either YTV or Teletoon as I have been, there they are.
Yeah, that's not it, but thanks anyways! I think I remember seeing this one back in the day too haha. The shorts I'm thinking of though, they were completely in claymation,I remember that quite clearly. The characters in that FunPak thing are animated,it's not claymation,so yeah...
well idk why i didn't post this before, but are you absolutely sure it wasn't ytv bumpers? there even is one with a head falling off, here is a video of the old ytv bumpers i am positive though its not on here, one of them had two guys on a sea saw with head switching it was very similar in art style
