I possibly solved a Lostwave case... {RULED OUT}

So, I found this on the Internet Archive:

IUMA: The Hot Flashez

 "Passing Lane" isn't a part of this small collection, but it seems to be the band you're looking for.  Comparing the voices of the singers between the unknown song and any of the Hot Flashez tracks, though, doesn't seem to be a match.  The lead singer of the Hot Flashez has a more nasally and higher voice with tons of warble to it, and the unknown track singer's is lower, with less warble and seems like there could be a U.K. accent.  Also, while obviously we don't know when the unknown song was actually recorded and released, it sounds older than the Hot Flashez tracks to me, like it was recorded somewhere in the mid- to late 1980's.  Could be wrong on that, though, obviously.  In any case, I unfortunately don't think that the discovery of the Hot Flashez solved this case, but they're interesting nonetheless, and you just may have just unintentionally initiated another lost media search.

This band is from my area, though I've never heard of them.

Unfortunate but at least that's one suspect off the list. To be honest id still like to see all the songs of theirs uploaded since they're still not uploaded. Unless they are and I'm just being stupid and havent found them.

Personally, I have a big hunch that most lostwaves are on easily found records or CDs that just haven't been uploaded and are difficult to find. I retitled the thread citing "RULED OUT"
