No worries! I mean in regards to demeaning the entire topic of searches as a whole. Obviously caring about bigger projects is totally fine, but saying the rise in popularity for these more minuscule searches is "causing the community to go downhill" is discouraging and hurts those who are passionate about those kinds of searches.
Now, being frustrated by people caring more about subjects you don’t care about is understandable, I felt that way too, and I’m still guilty of feeling that same way. I just poorly expressed it, and I came off as a total dickhead.
What I think we should do as a fandom is try to prioritize smaller and larger pieces of lost media as equally as possible, try to get some search efforts going for some larger pieces of lost media such as lost film media, and that way, people can stop feeling as though some subjects are being prioritized over others.
Now, apologies in advance if I fucked up at any point while writing, but I hope the message I’m trying to convey still shines through, and I don’t come off as re……………ally stupid.
