I am sorry if I am useless to the community

If I am useless, and you want me to leave, I will. There have been multiple rants as of late about how awful commercial and promo bumpers are compared to people who look for "culturally significant" things, and I'm so sorry that I'm always hunting for the little stuff. I would probably never find the big, and I've forced myself to accept that. I'm sorry that it's all I have to offer, if I even get to offer it at all - I haven't fully identified every Ooh and Aah Playhouse Disney bumper on my tape so for all I know, perhaps none of them are lost. I'm sorry that I initially come from AVID, a wiki about logos, when I am sure that finds in our community that have greatly excited us this year like the 2002-2005 Carmike trailer don't mean anything to you. I'm sorry that, prior to my Playhouse Disney tape (already ripped from VHS to DVD, don't know where to go from there, I am really sorry I only taped the breaks because I don't think we need to preserve Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and particularly apologize to someone in my Instagram DMs who was interested in the "coming up next" banners at the bottom of the screen), my biggest finds were "tiny clip of obscure Cartoon Network series Hotdog TV on a puppetry reel" and ""lost" Cinemark trailer that was really on Vimeo when no one was looking there, and I later found an old YouTube upload too". I'm sorry that what is maybe my most "significant" search, which I did on my own long before I joined this forum for help with my tape, is still for something that never released (and therefore is under debate as to whether that should count as a lost search), is for another stupidly niche thing I really care about (the script to a cancelled 2010s Fraggle Rock movie from the director of Hoodwinked that several contemporary Muppet fan sites reviewed and read early), and that it too was a dead-end, leading to the conclusion of "script survives in the hands of a writer for Tough Pigs that I won't name so he doesn't get harassed for the script, but it cannot be legally released". I'm just really, really sorry I'm not making huge finds all the time, and that so many of you feel bad about the community because people like me can't make the big finds you do want.

What I'm saying is that if I am one of the people who is making the lost media community worse, and I mean it with absolute earnest as I feel I really am, I'm sorry. I'm not trying to guiltrip you, so just be honest.
