So I remember playing this game that was downloaded onto our class computers in kindergarten, it couldn't have been made any later than 2010, but I honestly have no estimate on when it could've came out. It was likely a game intended for kids, especially considering we were in kindergarten, and most of the controls and stuff weren't very complicated, but I do remember me and my classmates struggling a bit, so perhaps something for somewhat older children. Not sure if this matters, but I lived in the New England area at that age.
Here's what I remember:
The graphics were all in 3D, and it was a relatively free roam game, you could walk around and open doors and stuff, but it followed a story. I remember the game being somewhat eerie, so it could've been a mystery game? But I don't remember much of the plot.
I don't recall there being gender options, but I played as a girl character in a long old-timey dress that I believe was light blue? The game itself was also in 3rd person.
As for the settings, it was definitely something medieval/old-timey, I recall the game starting with you in an older looking house. One setting I remember was a circular fountain surrounded by a circular metal gate, I believe you confronted an antagonist in this area as well?
So the one part of the game I vividly remember, which I hope could be the tip-off to help find this game: I remember one part of the game where you were in a tall, circular room, and there was a door with a platform about halfway up the wall, which was unreachable. There were weaved baskets strewn about the room, and a rack of bells. So, what you had to do was ring the bells in the correct order, so snakes would come out of the baskets, and you could hop on the lids on their heads and make it to the door.
That's about all I can remember, any help would be appreciated!
