can't remember the name of this old Flash Toon I saw somewhere around 20 years ago (2005-2007), but I THINK it was called "Hey Alien". Yes I know flash is gone. It was a Red Alien.
Hey Alien
The video opens with a 2D Still of a war-torn landscape, piles or rubble, bones, weapons, flashes of light in the background, the sounds of distant automatic gunfire, helicopters, faint whistling sounds like bombs dropping, tiny explosion sounds very far away. The Art style is simple. There's ... I don't know if it was a nuke, or a drum the left of the screen. There is doing a kind of low distortion slow reverb thing that eventually becomes the music. A very Simple Red alien walks slowly from the right. The Red Alien has a horizontal oval shaped face, bright yellow oval eyes, sharp white teeth, and stick figure hands and legs walks up to the .. drum or bomb or whatever. He holds up his little stick arms and two shiny red spheres appear with a "pop, pop" noise. The strange reverb fluctuates as he approaches his "drum". There's a loud click of a snare drum, and the distortion and reverb start to sound like house/dance music, and the cracking snare is perfectly in time with the Red alien beating these little spheres against his drum. In time with a beat mixed in is some one saying "Hey.... Hey.... Hey" I guess on the off beat between the drums. Each time the music says "Hey" the aliens little sharp white teeth move opened and closed, and he bobs, moves, or tilts his head, his eyes widening at one point. This goes for a while, until the alien beats the drum more quickly and the song ends... and the exact reverse of that reverb noise from the start plays as he exits the screen to the right... and it's a seamless repeat of him walking back into a frame a couple seconds later, the reverb just starting over. I used to clean my room while I let it play. I kind of want to hear it again.
Adobe Flash
Short-ish Loop Toons built and played in Adobe Flash were very popular at the time. I remember seeing "End of The World", "Badger Badger Badger" probably the same year I saw "Hey Alien". I know flash is gone, That hasn't made the search easy. I'm worried this is very seriously lost to time.
Albino Blacksheep
I'm 70% sure I saw the video originally on AlbinoBlacksheep I watched a lot of content on there. I had a slow connection at the time, so I would let their stuff loop. I went back a year or so before the pandemic, but couldn't find Anything. I've searched the site many times and not seen it there.
YouTube
I remember seeing it on YouTube at some point around 2010, but I didn't think anything of it. I didn't know it would vanish forever. I've gone looking, but couldn't find it. At the time I remember thinking "Oh hey that's on here now." a lot of flash stuff gradually migrated to Youtube.
NewGrounds
I viewed a lot of NewGrounds Content. I'm pretty sure I never saw it there.
Hope some one else has better luck
