I don't know if this is lost media or not since I don't even know the name of this show but back around the 2004-2006 range I was living in a pretty rural area and my family couldn't get normal cable so we switched from Dish to another satellite T.V company which was a pretty weird one. Either it wasn't a big company or it was a foreign company that had just moved into the U.S market. (I'm guessing foreign company since I remember some of the channels being in a European language like French or German or Dutch) They had over a 100 channels for sure but no big ones like Disney or Fox or Nick or Cartoon network or anything just weird channels but none of the names of logos I ever saw again. I remember one channel would have telethons for things like Greenpeace. I also remember the cable box they sent being like a TiVo box, plastic with a purplish tint to it. (I don't know if that was uncommon or not but most of the Television boxes I had seen up until 2013 were metal and black.)
The channel I watched mostly had cartoons most of which I never saw again. The only shows on there I recognized after were Kablam, Crashbox and Angela Anaconda. Many of the cartoons on there had pretty distinct art styles. One of them was about a kid who could go into different comics and magazines and the only episode from that I distinctly remember was him getting lost in his mothers cooking magazine and having to escape through the back cover. The animation was like a collage style somewhat like Angela Anaconda. There was another show on there with a sci-fi theme that was another cartoon about a bounty hunter or something. I don't remember every show but there were probably over a dozen ones I never saw or heard about besides from watching it there. The channel had an adult block to at night but it was a really short one from like 2 am to 3 am they showed an episode of Dr Katz or The Critic or other shows I can't remember.
The main show I'm interested in was this cartoon about three brothers who were grave diggers. It sounds like creepypasta material but the show was a comedy and pretty light hearted and the animation was pretty non detailed and things were strange colors like I remember how the dirt and the landscape was this weird blueish-purple. (Not to imply it was low quality when I say non detailed but the designs of characters were simple, kind of like from the cover of Cranium) When I was at that age I did watch a lot of things that would of given children nightmares that didn't bother me like Hostile and Saw and horror movies like that and outside of that I did have a pretty traumatic childhood but still thinking back on the show even though the synopses of a lot of the episodes would make it sound like it wasn't a kids show just the way they did them didn't make it seem scary in anyway.
The only episode I really remember with detail was one where this chili restaurant opens in the town they live in and they advertise that the chili is so spicy it kills you and they have a contest for anyone who can eat it and survive. Dozens of people end up dying and the grave digger brothers get a ton of money from their business since so many people died and they want to win the contest too. And the episode ends with it turning out the chili wasn't spicy at all and the chef just put sleeping powder in it to trick people that he was actually good at making chili and all the people they thought were dead end up waking up and clawing out of their coffin and digging their way through the 6 feet of dirt in order to get revenge on the chef.
A few months later the cable boxes got taken out and my mom told me the company had gone out of business and we got Dish again. Since I haven't found anything about this show I'm assuming it's lost but if anyone knows anything about it or the name or just anything relevent to my post at all it would help a lot.
