*Platform(s): PC - Windows '95 or '98 (but could have been a DOS game)
*Genre: Educational Trivia Game manifested as a 1st-person "Maze" game similar to 3D Maze
*Estimated year of release: 1990-1998 (possibly late 80s)
*Graphics/art style: Very early/rudimentary graphics similar to the game "3D Maze" or that Windows '95 Maze Screensaver. It definitely had a "Darker" "Medieval Dungeon" theme - but it was not scary (since it was intended for kids.)
*Notable characters: The only character I can remember is a cartoon frog (who I THINK you had to "rescue") who would show up in some of the dungeon rooms such as jail cells. The only image of him I can remember is a stereotypical green animated frog in an old claw-foot bathtub with bubbles and he was holding a big, soapy brush.
*Notable gameplay mechanics: As far as I can remember - it was not a "free-roaming" game like Doom - instead you would move through the maze frame by frame and each room you clicked on to enter you would have to answer a trivia question. I cannot for the life of me remember what the trivia questions were about - but it was probably related to history or math.
*Other details: My brother and I have been trying to find this game for literally the past 10 years - and we have affectionally dubbed it the "frog game." Any help would be more appreciated than you could possibly imagine - because, at this point, we are beginning to think it is a manifestation of the Mandella Effect.
The games we have found on our journey that we have already eliminated are:
* [**Logic Quest 3D**]
* [**Rumpelstiltskin’s Labyrinth of the Lost**]
* [**NumberMaze Challenge 1999**]
* [**Isaac Asimov Science Adventure 2**]
* [**King Arthur’s Magic Castle**]
* [**Microsoft Encarta 1994 Mind Maze**]
* [**Castle Explorer**]
* [**Microsoft Encarta 1997 Mind Maze**]
The only other game I have found that it could be is [**Time Treks: Magic Quest**] - which I cannot confirm because I cannot find any gameplay or screenshots of it online anywhere.
Out of all of these games I would say "Mind Maze" is probably closest to it in regards to gameplay and the maze part of "King Arthur's Magic Castle" is probably closest to it graphically (it even has a frog statue.)
Please help my brother and I find "THE FROG GAME" from our childhood.
UPDATE: My brother helped me install “Time Treks” and that is not the game either unfortunately
