(S) kids Cartoon girl gets crushed by a tree

Today in history class, we were watching a video and there was a scene of a guy cutting down a tree and the tree falls. That reminded me of a scene in a show I watched as a kid were a girl was running in the forest. It was stormy and the colors used were mostly warm colors. Lightning hit the tree making it fall and the girl was crushed by it. I don’t remember if she died, I think as a kid I thought she died and got scared and turned it off. But something is telling me that she did not die and woke up a few hours later. I am not sure about that part though. It was so long ago. I think the girl got mad at her mom or someone and ran into the woods. It’s such a vague memory, it just scared me as a kid because I thought the girl was dead for sure. I am not sure if the animation was claymation, or 2d. It was similar to the Tim but tan style though.
