Basically I've noticed on reddits lostmedia pages and on here most UK media tends to simply get lost in the shuffle for the most part as the user base is predominantly American.
This is in no means a bad thing in the long term finding of lost media however imo there's so many lost media from the UK that doesn't have any active searches or effort put into it despite there being interest because by the time a post is made about it 20-30 others are in its place
I made a post about a show called 'captain Abercromby' years ago for example and on here / lost media Reddit there wasn't really anything in terms of 'engagement'
Yet when I posted the intro to the show in hd on archive (which I happened to find in my own searches) or look at the few YouTube videos about the show
There's a very vocal set of people who are wanting it found
Old sky box games is another, we will likely never see through this current set up for lost media a day where the roms are found/ an emulator etc is created (like the tiger LCD emulators, flash emulators etc that exist)
So my solution was a UK Centric lost media subreddit so that the more obscure British content can be discussed
This comes after years of meticulously going on this forum and keeping a scouts eye trying to see anything that is British as it comes up.
As I say you may not feel it's needed but to me personally I think it is so hopefully this is okay to do
