beta really doesn't appear different than the 2010 version. I jumped on the game around then, I believe. Miss that version. Is there a page with older builds on it? It's basically unplayable in it's modern state for me, especially with the absence of the old mod platform. Also, have they brought back actual maps?

Yeah, some modders added the maps back. They work fine for the most part.

Anyways, the beta does have some major differences.

First off, the beta had LEGO horses. Players also had limbs. The bow model was different (I can't really find any screenshots of it right now) and the rocket launcher didn't make the player rocket jump. And in the really early beta, the players where Lego figures instead of blockheads. Also the jeep sounded a bit different.

Well it's unconfirmed but people on the Blockland forums say he died in a hot air balloon accident.

Those are pretty rare. And is it actually confirmed that those people knew him? Could just be people making shit up. Also, where is the mod that adds the old map function back?
