I thought i remember there being an article on LMW about a pilot episode where only 30 seconds of its pilot was aired before being taken off the air.

~~idk if i'm misremembering Turn On or what but i swear there was an article about this pilot. and sadly i don't remember the name of the pilot.~~

It sounds like you're talking about Turn-On, except it was mostly taken off the air in the first 30 minutes. IIRC, Tim Conway said by the time it got to Ohio and the Central timezone area, networks shut it off after 15 minutes and it barely, if at all, made it to California.
