Hello, I am a new user here. I was trying to locate a 'new user' thread and was going to post in there before making a LM post, but I couldn't find one. lol
Initially, I didn't plan on coming to this board, as there is nothing I really am itching to find. However, my Mom is trying to find something, and urged me to go here and start a search, so I guess I don't want to disappoint her.
There was this show back on HGTV called "The Carol Duvall Show." It ran from 1994 to 2005. Apparently, over 1,000 episodes were tapped for the show in that time period (vid for proof: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSGxujQITeE&pp=ygUWQ2Fyb2wgRHV2YWxsIFNob3cgMTAwMA%3D%3D). However; even though the show was fairly popular for its time, and even got reruns on the DIY network to what appears to be 2012, no home media of any kind exists of it.
There are some segments and clips of it on YouTube, with a handful of full episodes. discovery+ also has some episodes, but it's merely a fraction of what was actually made (within episodes, there are references to previous episodes that simply aren't there).
I'm not sure how much of the series is lost, but it's apparently a good deal of it. I'm currently trying to get the supplies needed to hook up the Roku to the DVD recorder so I can preserve the discovery+ releases (cause I mean, have you seen the purges WBDiscovery have been on lately?)
If possible, if anyone has any home recordings of it, do upload them so I can share them with my Mom.
A big thank you in advance.
For right now, here's my own contribution to this potential search from an old VHS tape my mom recorded back in 2000: archive.org/details/the-carol-duvall-show-various-episodes
