Somewhere in June 10th 2020, around 3am to maybe 5am I remember waking up to the tv going of on what appeared to be maybe three or four panels that switched. One would talk about war and peace but then cuts off towards the end, black out, then does a different one. I never seen this one, but I remember it saying "right, left, center, right surrounded, left surrounded" then would do that maybe 3 more times before switching panels again.
I never looked at the tv so I cannot say what they looked like, but one thing is j definitely wanna try and find it once again.
Do you remember what channel it was on before you went to bed? Also Dish Network has a feature called Multiview where you can watch up to four panels at once you could have slept on the remote causing the show panels to appear maybe one of them was a news channel talking about war and peace?
The remote was actually away from anyone, it would loop too the same things over and over again so I don't think that is it:((( I don't remember the channel either, I just remember it was on tv and it looped, never stopped and it was scary
Sometimes providers like Sky would have a "channel 999" with a repeating animation (For example, Sky as I mentioned used to have a repeating video in the mid-late 2000s called Dog and Duck on channel 999 which was basically for some help guide or something. nowadays it shows promotions and Sky ads.) Sometimes, when the box resets/updates/boots on it automatically goes to channel 999, so the box may have updated overnight and had switched to channel 999. Do you know who is your provider?
The boardwalk? Enjoy your time among the commoners, player. You see, I only swim in bottled water.

My best bet is a surround-sound audio test of some kind. The fact that it repeats several times, and that the directions are "right, left, center, right surround[ed], left surround[ed]"?
"All 5.1 systems use the same speaker channels and configuration, having a Front Left (FL) and Front Right (FR), a Center Channel (CNT), two surround channels (Surround Left - SL and Surround Right - SR) and the low-frequency effects (SW) channel designed for a subwoofer."
Here's an example video of someone reading out very similar positional directions:

Based on this and rereading the OP again, I'm convinced that what OP watched was actually some kind of TV showcase mode that switches between different channels on a loop to display the television in a store. I could easily see a surround sound test being part of that.

It's definitely one of those CBS Proof-Of-Performance Tests. I immediately knew what it was at the "left surround, right surround" part.

CBS News would have played this before the morning, so it might be that.
